OUAT Thoughts and Review: “Birth” & “The Bear King”

This week’s two-hour adventure had two different stories to tell.

In the first story, we discovered why Emma took everyone’s memories away. However, it led to a big reveal, that is definitely going to cause issues for Captain Swan.

In the second story, we arrived in DunBroch and learned more about Merida’s past and her future as the queen. It was also the return of Mulan and Ruby, who have been MIA for a while.

OUAT Thoughts and Review: “Nimue”

Standard

Long before there was Rumplestiltskin, there was the very first Dark One.

This week we got to learn the origin of that Dark One along with seeing Emma come face-to-face with it when Merlin takes her on a quest that could bring her one step closer to returning to her old red-leather-jacket-self.

Meanwhile, her loved ones must help take Excalibur from Arthur with the help (term used very loosely) of an unlikely source.

When Emma needs Rumple to become a hero he threatens the one person that can could cause him to fight back: Belle. Meanwhile, Regina believes she has a way to get in touch with Merlin.

In Camelot, Merida takes Belle home on a quest to save her brothers from the clansmen.
