With every passing episode, there has been someone deeply connected to the Underworld crew that has needed their help.
One of those people happened to be Hook’s beloved brother, Liam, who not only try to help them, but also held a dark secret from his younger brother–and some distaste for his girlfriend.

Just when we thought one Dark One was enough, we see that two Dark Ones are far worse–especially when one is a blood-thirsty pirate.
This week’s penultimate episode to the Dark Swan arc tied up loose ends, including why the memories were taken and what Hook’s evil plan is.
There was also some heartbreak for our favorite couples, like Rumbelle and Captain Swan, but there were some lighter moments with Zelena and her daughter and Henry and Emma coming together again.
Let’s begin with recap, but keep on reading for some random thoughts, this week’s Most Valuable Resident, and a promo for Sunday’s mid-season finale.
Shall we begin?
Rumple continued his deviousness this week as he tortured a returned August W. Booth for answers about The Author.
Hook also found a way to learn about Rumple’s plan by helping a Queen of Darkness with her happy ending.
Check out a recap below along with thoughts, quotes, and gifs. of this week’s episode.
What did you think of “Poor Unfortunate Soul”?
It is a pretty well-known fact that Once Upon Time has plenty of characters and actors from the U.S. and abroad.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, here is a short and simple list of our favorite Irish OUAT actors.
Certainly, many of our favorite OUAT actors have a career outside of their fairytale counterparts.
Superhero movies, period films, and Pirate blockbusters. The OUAT cast has done a little bit of everything.
Since Captain Hook has first appeared, something has not changed. That would be his wardrobe. Every episode Hook is always seen in his hefty leather trenchcoat (Colin O’Donoghue says it weighs 50 pounds), along with a whole lot of other leather parts. Even while the rest of the OUAT characters have changed into countless other wardrobe that fit their characters both in the Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke, Hook has not.
And after 2 seasons of seeing Colin wearing what is likely the same outfit,
Hook’s changin’ it up.
